 Coaxial Valves

Coaxial Solenoid and Pneumatic Valves.

Coax valves have been developed for the reliable robust fast positive on/off control of vacuum, gaseous, liquid, gelatinous (thick), abrasive, contaminated, aggressive, corrosive, high pressure or general purpose air water hydraulic oil media. The coaxial design allows, as compared to other solenoid valves direct acting control, higher working pressure ranges, higher flow rates, bi-directional flow control (flow both ways), in either 2/2, 3/2 way normally closed, normally open and modular manifold design systems with sizes ranging from 1/8" through to 2" thread or flange ends. Typical sealing is with Viton behind PTFE back up rings, with options for NBR, EPDM and all PTFE sealing. The unique design and advantages of coaxial valves is further enhanced by the addition of a range of options such as, but not limited too:
open and /or closed volt free position switches, manual over ride, degreased fr oxygen use, high temperature applications, mounting brackets, custom port sizes threads and types manufactured from either Brass, stainless steel 304 or 316, standard - galvanised or nickel plated steel.

Solenoid Operated.

The most common coaxial valves are solenoid or electrically controlled by either 24vDC or 230vAC 50/60Hz, with other voltages such as 24vAC, 12vDC, 110vDC or 48 volt typically available as a special option.

Pneumatically / External Control

The air pilot externally controlled pneumatic range utilise a 3 to 8 Bar compressed air supply which can either be via a direct namur mounted solenoid control valve or via external pipework from remote controller.

Below is a simplified short list of the most common coaxial valves used in the market today, for more detailed technical information please click here to read more about coaxial valves.
